You may catch striped bass (rockfish), bluefish, flounder, mackerel and others from/immediately off 'your' frontage, depending on how the fish are 'running'.
If your nautical and fishing desires are not there that day, there are many other pursuits.
For those who would like a moderately priced meal, there is the Water's Edge Restaurant, about a five-minute walk south.
For those wishing to drive one mile, there is the Sebasco Harbor Resort, which not only has an 18 hole golf course, kayak rentals, sailing and deep sea fishing trips,
but also dining at their 'Pilot House' and the more casual 'The Ledges Pub'.
Within a 15 minute drive, are the beaches at Small Point and Popham Beach State Park, both of which have admission fees.
A closer beach is that at Totman Cove which is a shallow, protected beach owned by the town & free, best at high tide.
At Popham (Beach) are the historic Forts, Popham and Baldwin as well as a beautiful beach walk.
Spinney's Restaurant has reasonable menu.
